Avenue of Stars and Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade - A Review

Initially, we were supposed to cover this spot on our second day itinery but as we were done with Temple Street (not covered in my blog post as there were no photos), we decided to stroll along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and cover the Avenue of Stars since we still have time. The promenade looks exactly like when they were featured in the TVB series I am so fond of. LOL. No movie stars though.

The Avenue of Stars is probably inspired from its counterpart in the West and there is also a statue of their version of the Oscars to greet visitors at the start of the avenue. Check out my photo with it below. :D

There were lots of youngsters plying their talents and some of their singing was pretty incredible. We spent some time stopping from group to group and before long we felt like some The Voices' judge-wannabes. Hehe. Anyway, aside from all those distractions, the views were simply to die for~ The famous Hong Kong skylines set amid the dark waters of Victoria Harbour...

Even without any camera skills, one can never go wrong with the photographs of this place.

There were even a mini concert nearby the Avenue of Stars when we were there. I guess Hong Kong is simply a compact melting pot for talents...
