Morganfield's - A Review

To all the pork lovers out there, Morganfield's is probably a common name in your eating repertoire. However, for the little kampung me, this was the first time I have been to try their "famous" pork ribs. We had the garlicky full slab of ribs for tea break to share amongst the two of us.

Their mugs are so adorable with the piggy theme and they top up the plain water really fast with no complaints.

Sadly, after an enjoyable first and second bite, the other bites were pretty disappointing. I couldn't really pin-point the real culprit but I personally felt the sauce was a little on the cloying side. After a few bites, added with the rendered fat from some area in the ribs, I was ready to call it a day. Heh!

The commendation I could lay upon this branch in Sunway Pyramid is their service was faultless and waitresses/waiter were attentive and courteous. We queried about the birthday promo (Free ribs for the whole year if you spend RM500 or more on your big day) but decided not to get it. Reason: there are just TWO of us. lol. Nevertheless, their supervisor/manager surprised us with a big plate of brownie with ice cream when we called for the bill. The brownie was super amazing with generous amounts of walnuts and pecans? topped with a mound of ice cream with chocolate and caramel drizzle! 

I would probably visit again for their other desserts (their dessert platter looks really saliva-inducing) and thanks to their great service, my visit was quite enjoyable.
